Tasting notes
Taster   Chris Goodrum
Nose: A beautiful, crisp and mineral nose with fragrant honey and hints of apricot, orange, tangerine and peach. With time, hints of mocha and toasted oak appear.
Palate: The palate mirrors the crisp, mineral character of the nose except it is showing a little more barley and oiliness. Pleasantly honeyed and very deep.
Finish: Delightfully long and minerally with lingering barley.
Comment: A lovely, vibrant malt with what appears to be plenty of Highland character. (Although, it’ll probably turn out to be to from somewhere completely different!)

Taster   Alwynne Gwilt
Nose: Instantly wonderful balance of old, sticky fruits and oak. Feels like a very solid maturation. Bit of honey, some waxy fruits, strawberries and cream.
Palate: Rounded, pleasing and I was surprised it was 46%. Balanced and elegant. Vanilla, wax, oak, bit of peppery spice and some lovely summery fruits (peaches, apples).
Finish: Just a hint of earthy bitterness on the back palate but a nice long continuation ofthe flavours.
Comment: Lovely whisky – lots to offer, and one to sit with for a while.
