Tasting notes

Taster Dave Broom

Nose: Complex yet restrained with depth and a subtle charm. Poached pear, peach, creamy toffee/sweet vanilla and hint of light rye notes, lemon nut and hickory.
Palate: Sits on the tongue nicely with an almost dense chewiness. Starts softly then a gentle, subtle lift of lemon icing, sultana cake, rye and soft sweet honey.
Finish: Soft and long.
Comment: Mellow elegance. Joni Mitchell.

Nose: Soft, sweet toffeeish. Rounded.
Palate: Oily. Drier. Fudge-like.
Finish: Slight rye dryness, rounded out with a touch of bourbon.
Comment: Like Seagram's VO Gold, a delicate but wonderfully dextrous blend.
