Slightly prickly at first. With time, honeydew melon, malted barley, pear drop, and gooseberry jam. Green oak, pine sap, raw sourdough, olive oil, crayons. Then cannoli aromas of sweet pastry, sweet ricotta filling, milk chocolate and pistachio.Palate:
Medium-light body. A touch hot, but honey sweetness does well to balance it. Opens up with time to apricot jam, poached pear, Greek yoghurt, blackberry jam, and cream cake with caramel.Finish:
Short-medium, on cream cake.Comment:
A bit feisty, but the flavours are solid.
