Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Grassy, green. Sweet drying wild flowers. Hay with a touch of honey. Vanilla yogurt. An earthy hint.
Palate: Sweet and caressing. Lovely thick but flowing feel. Like an elderflower syrup. Getting dry and spicy in the end.
Finish: Dry, refreshing, always grassy.
Comment: A simple but well balanced grassy character. Perfect summer dram.
7.8
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Pewter in colour and notes of silver polish. Lawn clippings/grass pile. Immature (or not sufficient interaction). Magic marker pens, unripe pear, slightly grubby. With water, steely and inert.
Palate: Slightly abrasive, the lack of interaction leaves it rather raw and exposed. With water there’s a hint it’s coming together but too early.
Finish: Hard.
Comment: Too young.
