Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Grassy, refreshing. Drying hay. Fennel.A lovely sweet milky note of crushed fresh hazelnuts. Lemon posset.
Palate: Smooth at first then dancing on the tongue with a tender bite. Sherbety. Well balanced. The same grassy refreshing notes as the nose.
Finish: Short, fresh and quickly fading.
Comment: Noses and tastes young. But a cheery “drinkeasy”dram. Water cuts the edges and gives it a little more depth.
7.6
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Pale and fine with green florals, white flowers, touch of maturity. A little like a janitor’s cupboard, bit stony.
Palate: Sweet and slightly green, delicate yet forceful. With water is better than the nose, light florals at work here, lemon.
Finish: Starts to grip again.
Comment: At its best in a couple of years.
