Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Crisp and spring like. Green apple and young rhubarb with cinnamon and a touch of raisin. Despite this freshness there’s a mature touch alongside a slight fragility. Water brings with it marmalade and freshly polished brass.
Palate: Smooth and slightly hot when neat, but with sound mid-palate sweetness.
Finish: Slightly astringent.
Comment: Good but delicate.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Plenty of fruit.Exotic (mango, passion fruit) and dry (apricot, pear). Spices slowly swirl up. Cumin, cinnamon. Polished oak. Nutty with water.
Palate: Crisp and dry. Flowing. Quite light on the tongue. But spicy. The fruit is drier than on the nose but not as sweet as expected.
Finish: Long, intense. Prunes. Candied mango.
Comment: A characterful dram. Rich and spicy. Reminds me of some armagnacs.
