Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Humidors and fresh green tobacco leaves. There is a floral note, almost daffodils. White chocolate.
Palate: Opens slowly the hits with a very spicy edge.
Finish: Dry and crisp.
Comment: An outdoor dram certainly for this time of year. Warming in the cold.
8.1
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Earthy, musty. Pine sap. Joiner workshop. Slightly prickly. Opens on creamier notes. Chocolate fudge. Hint of citrus fruit. Water brings out floral notes.
Palate: Smooth at start but dries up on ginger and chilli. The spicy tanginess is quite numbing.
Finish: Dry, spicy with a leaf note.
Comment: The nose has got some complexity but the palate is overwhelmed and overdried by spices. It needs water.
