Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Lurid colour. Toffee, nutella and cereal dryness to start, then becomes increasingly sulphury.
Palate: More tannic than you expect, the sulphur like a firework on the palate. Lacks elegance and balance.
Finish: Bitter.
Comment: Sweet and sulphury'

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Sulphury, woody. Walnut stain. A hint of date. The sherry cask chokes the whisky.
Palate: Dry, sour, astringent. Oak juice, and not much more.
Finish: Of the same metal as we say in French! Wood, wood, wood...
Comment: A good example of cask tyranny. The sherry acts like a tsunami. Makes no quarter!
