Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Direct and malty. Fresh and light. Seems young. In time a summery mix of cut watermelon, cucumber, grass. Hint of smoke. Clean.
Palate: Medium bodied with good feel. Honey, malt, peat and balanced oak.
Finish: Dry. Hay-like.
Comment: Though a little short has more substance than the rest of the range.
7.8
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Warm, malted milk. Bitter chocolate. Slightly smoky.
Palate: Dry. Liquorice. Rooty. Sappy. Woody.
Finish: A suggestion of quinine. Iron tonic. Medicinal. Astringent.
Comment: A very odd Macallan. Perhaps a very odd cask.
