Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Winey and woody. Damp cellar. Muscat grape. Sweet notes.
Palate: Sweet, very sweet, too sweet at first. Then a spicy burst. And getting watery. The alcohol is nearly tamed but there is not much to offer apart from the sweet and spicy flavours.
Finish: Dry, soothing on overcooked jam.
Comment: Must be a wine finish. Which dominates quite brutally. Maybe because the whisky was bland. Not impressive in the end. Water enhances the sweetness.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Hugely winey.Boiled grape must/overcooked jam with elderberry. Water accentuates the impression of some sort of concentrate being used to hide the whisky.
Palate: Very thick start then raw alcohol. Hard yet sweet.
Finish: Tacky.
Comment: Poor. “British sherry” finish?
