Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: High alcohol. Limoncello light wood (ash) camomile/scented grass then guava and mandarin. Slightly vegetal.
Palate: Sweet and concentrated with clove, kumquat and a hint of clove.
Finish: Long and spicy.
Comment: Manages to corral a number of disparate flavours well.
7.8
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Fragrant. Almond milk. Orange pekoe tea. Some yeasty notes. Creamy toffee with water.
Palate: Sweet start, the alcohol bite tickles. Pleasant toffee flavours, a touch of candied lemon peel. Still burning with water.
Finish: Hot, spicy. Tabasco.
Comment: The high strength makes it difficult to tame even with water. Some like it hot. But my palate waves a white flag.
