Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Cinder toffee, hints of treacle. Wood vanillas come through. There is a littleburnt match too.
Palate: Sweet up front fading to dried fruits. The cinder toffee comes through.
Finish: Dry with raisins.
Comment: The oloroso hints are great but seem to get lost in other elements. Decentenough though.
7.2
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Oaky. Rubbery. Sulphur note with a butyric touch. Pepper dust. Hint ofcrème caramel.
Palate: Sweet. Raisins and dates. The sulphury note from the nose comes through and lingers, unfortunately.
Finish: Dry, sulphury.
Comment: A tired sherry cask? Or a tyred one? A rubbery profile which does not release much, apart from dour sulphury notes. Water does not help.
