Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Very estery. Green bananas with mint ice-cream.
Palate: Chewy, then creamy. Evaporated milk. Develops a malty dryness. Coconut ice nuttiness.
Finish: Balancing dryness, enhanced dusty spiciness. Nutmeg-like.
Comment: Avery spicy whisky, especially in the minty notes that seem always to come with rum, yet the Clynelish shines through.
8.0
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Direct and quite fine. Crisp, with hints of oil, sultana, hessian, roasted nut and, with water, creamy malt and light smoke.
Palate: Good waxy/oily feel with a concentrated mid-palate that has apricot, coconut and raspberry.
Finish: Honey, some oiliness.
Comment: Good, but just lacks the oomph of the other examples.
