Tasting notes
Taster   Joel Harrison
Nose: A delicate nose of lemon drops, pearl barley, spelt pasta and vanilla.
Palate: Pure banana split, with whipped cream, fresh banana and chocolate sprinkles. There is an element of artificial sweetener about this too.
Finish: A lovely sweet and tasty finish.
Comment: This is a well put together, light dram. Perfect for a warm summer’s day.
8.7
Taster   Chris Goodrum
Nose: Manure with primary, oily peat and barley. A touch of toffee, coffee and what feels like sweet grain notes appear. Lovely intensity.
Palate: Sweet barley mingles with white fruit, heather, vanilla and oily peat along with some sweeter peat notes. Toasted toffee appear on the middle as well as the crisp, grain spirit note.
Finish: Long, intensely salty and grainy finish with some lingering whiter fruit and a return of the manure.
Comment: Although not hugely complex, the higher degree of alcohol means that its straightforward character is amplified.
