Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Sweet and honeyish, but with hints of malt and smoke.
Palate: Orangey at first, then lemon peel and aniseed.
Finish: Delicately whiskyish. Suggestions of Speyside.
Comment: Substantially darker, bigger, fruitier, drier, firmer, more structured and less syrupy than the Drambuie with the ribbon.
7.5
Taster   Jim Murray
Nose: A heady dose of mixed herbs and spices, with aniseed, juniper and cloves sticking to a cloying, vaguely honeyed sweetness. Hello? Where's the whisky?
Palate: Massively sweet and, for me, unbearable.
Finish: Sugar, sugar, sugar, then a vague, almost pleasant bitterness on the very finish.
Comment: Sorry, not my cup of tea. The 15-Year-Old whisky wasted in this has become an irrelevance against the surging sweetness.
