Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Rounded and toasty warm. Light bran, sweet digestive biscuit, choc ice. With water there's dried grass balanced by soft fleshy fruits.
Palate: Sweet start then crisp nutty varnished oak in the middle, then apricot juice towards the back.
Finish: Slightly bitter. Black butter.
Comment: Eminently drinkable.
7.8
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Mint crème chocolates. Stem ginger. Liqueur chocolates.
Palate: Caramel, rum, crystallised ginger.
Finish: Roasted chestnuts, slightly scorched.
Comment: Full flavours but slightly tired. A Lowlander for Christmas? Well, perhaps for Boxing Day.
