Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Floral, wild roses. Buttery at start but quickly shifting to outdoor scents. Heather, dry flowers. Grainy. Cereals, malt husk. A touch of mint.
Palate: Satin-soft. Sweet and balanced by a pleasant mixed spices notes and liquorice. Pleasant cereal flavours. Dried fruit.Vanilla.
Finish: Not long but nicely soothing on soft spices.
Comment: An interesting aromatic profile to it.

Taster   Annabel Meikle
Nose: Burning lavender. A little fatty in texture like Millionaires shortbread. New shoes.
Palate: Apple vinegar, soapy and bitter notes. It feels as if it hasn’t taken much sweetness from the cask, and has little fruitiness.
Finish: Hot at first, then bitter to finish.
Comment: Too young for me – I need more depth and integration.
