Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Broad, mature and complex. Caraway, unripe mango, toffee. Some old Bourbon-like notes alongside raisin, liquorice and clootie dumpling.
Palate: Dense and sweet with light peated notes, hard toffee, stewed fruits, quite grippy (old?) with antique shop character, undergrowth. Moves into deep raisined fruits, spiced cake.
Finish: Dry and nutty.
Comment: A venerable beast.

Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Butterscotch. Rum butter.
Palate: Lightly chewy. Toffeeish.
Finish: A hint of treacle toffee. Warming.
Comment: A dessert whisky? Bring on the crème brulée.
