Tasting notes
Taster   Kate Portman (nee Ennis)
Nose: Bourbon notes combined with more fragrant cedar wood. There are also hints of cloves and cinnamon.
Palate: Very fruity to begin with berry flavours, with echoes of port, then the sweet spice comes through. It's assertive but not aggressive.
Finish: Long and warming, with spice and zesty orange peel.
Comment: A wonderfully complex dram for contemplation.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Richly sweet. Créme bruleé. Bourbon-like. Peach, vanilla pod. mocha, toasted marshmallow, millionaire shortbread (butter, caramel, chocolate). sweet spice
Palate: Soft and unctuous, almost jammy, some honey cedar.Very juicy and mouth watering.
Finish: Long silky.
Comment: That rare commodity...a mature grain. Snap it up quick the industry is in short supply!
