Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Spirity at first, floral notes of daffodils, tulips and oil seed rape flowers. Honey and caramel wafers. Apple blossom and a little citrus zing.
Palate: Refreshing and full of spice and oak. Great mouth grip with hints of vanilla custard.
Finish: Fruity and refreshing.
Comment: The nose does not really hint at the barnstorming palate.
8.8
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Geranium, praline. Intensely fragrant. A touch of bee wax and orange blossom honey. Rich, elegant, slowly unwinding on citrus notes.
Palate: Crisp and fizzy. Very fresh and vibrant. The same citrusy/vanilla profile. Plus spices. Ginger and a pleasant oak astringency in the back.
Finish: Clean, precise with a fruity aftertaste.
Comment: An enticing nose and lively palate. I prefer it neat than diluted as I think water cuts too many edges... Try it to your taste!
