Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Tablet, fudge, butter and sugar cake mix. A hint of citrus and coconut. A malty side to it as well.
Palate: All that buttery, sugary sweetness comes through. Coconut and vanilla spices follow close behind. A hint of oak bitterness too.
Finish: Grippy, dry and mouthwatering.
Comment: Perfect for the summer, when it gets here.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Sweet. Creamy fudge. Buttery too. White chocolate. A hint of coconut. Tinned peaches.
Palate: Sweet and flowing like silk. Then at mid-palate, you feel the oak grip but not aggressive.
Finish: Astringent, dry. Artichoke leaf in the back.
Comment: A good example of Bourbon cask maturation (a refill ?). There is a constant bitterness but it is quite refreshing, like a grapefruit. A few drops of water bring out a sweet note.
