Tasting notes

Taster Rob Allanson

Nose: Chocolate truffles, rice crispy cakes, caramel sauce, cocoa powder andtoasted marshmallows.
Palate: A little piquant with a citrus zip, marmalade, apple juice, Madagascan vanilla pods and a crisp malt note too.
Finish: Clean and crisp with apple skins.
Comment: A little like dry flat cider, but infinitely more interesting.

Taster Neil Ridley

Nose: Milk chocolate, a touch of rice crackers, room temperature butter and adusting of cocoa powder.
Palate: A sharp mouthfeel with lemon sorbet, dry English cider, demerara sugar and a touch of vanilla.
Finish: Short and dry, with lingering orchard fruit.
Comment: A very dry dram, with some interesting fruity moments.
