Tasting notes

Taster Neil Ridley

Nose: Like an overripe tropical fruit bowl, just on the turn: bananas, a waft of mango, papaya and pineapple. Sliced red apple with a slightly brown tinge and hard bitter caramel.
Palate: The tropical notes are superb, vibrant and fresh. Passion fruit, creamy banana, anise dusted kiwi and fresh green apples - it's like a 'before and after' when compared to the nose. Water brings out a woody liquorice root note, followed by vanilla and c
Finish: Orange barley sugar sweets, lemon bonbons. Red liquorice laces. Like opening a pack of Haribo sweets. Heavy on the fruit side of life, a big bowl of tropical fruits. Toffee apples.
Comment: That sweet fruit note persists. Mango coulis, more runny honey, peaches and cream. It has an almost liqueur like cling to the palate. Vanilla and nutmeg.
