Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Clean and sweet oak with a little hint of juniper and lychee, almond as well. Light smoke in the background. Oilskins. Light syrup. Needs a time to open.
Palate: Very clean and sweet with light grip of oak then these light fruits. Zesty, light strawberry, falls a little to the back moving into light smoke, wet rock.
Finish: Chinese green tea. Orchid.
Comment: Caol Ila, but with all the smoke machine turned off.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Tangy at first. Fruit notes soothe the biting edge, wrapped in a discrete veil of smoke. A hint of candyfloss. More to come as times goes.
Palate: Sweet at first. Very refreshing. Quite thick texture. Then the alcohol bite teases the tongue. Lots of mint and liquorice. Spices swirl up in a pleasant way. A distant smokey flavour.
Finish: Dry, slightly bitter with a oaky tone.
Comment: A well knitted whisky. I would have liked a more delicate oaky frame though.
