Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Sweet, rich cake mixture, dried fruits, candied citrus peel and honey roast nuts Dunnage warehouses, damp soil. Some sweet notes of woodland honey.
Palate: Silky and sweet at first then a freshness knitted with citrus and Christmas cake mixture comes through. Caramalised sugar and apples slices.
Finish: Lingering with some lovely spices and oaky notes.
Comment: Lovely stuff. The Bull just keeps on charging with some excellent expressions.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Earthy. Damp warehouse. Forest ground after a heavy shower. Dried fruit, almonds and nuts. Dundee cake. Opening on sweeter notes after some time. Praline.
Palate: Smooth at first but quickly reveals a crispy dryness. Sour fruit. Citrus. Crystallised ginger. Slightly sherbet on the tongue.
Finish: Dry, spicy. Rather long. Demerara sugar.
Comment: A dash of water cuts the edges but weakens the aromas. A well balanced whisky, hesitating between sweet and sour but finally choosing the latter.
