Tasting notes
Taster   Joel Harrison
Nose: This is a young and playful nose with hints of soft vanilla ice cream, damp wool, lily of the valley, white musk and cinnamon spice.
Palate: Some spicy elements added to the floral bouquet. It feels a little underdone at first but after time some nice copper and spice notes appear, adding to the vanilla and lily, making this a rather unique malt.
Finish: Copper, vanilla, foam banana sweets.
Comment: This needed air and some time in the glass to come to life. Once it did, it revealed a unique flavour profile which was enhanced by a tinge of sulphur, unusual for a single malt.

Taster   Chris Goodrum
Nose: Soft and estery with pineapple, melon, banana, peach, pear and fragrant barley. Some taut citrus and a subtle minerality adds a little counterpoint to the tropical fruit.
Palate: Soft, milky and barley. A little watery and underpowered but full of the same estery, tropical fruit tones as the nose. A little more herbal and tartly citric on the middle.
Finish: Long and herbal with lingering barley, light honey and perfumed fruit. Maybe it’s become a little too perfumed?
Comment: A wonderful fruit bomb of a malt but a bit too perfumed to want more than one dram of this at a time.
