Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Takes some time to open. At first it is all cereal, dust and light fruit, but then this poached pear and cream starts to come through.
Palate: That cereal and fusty note comes through but a delicate sweetness lurks as well.
Finish: Sharp and short.
Comment: Not certain where the sauternes has gone. A dram that may take more time to open up.
6.5
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: A strange scent. Mix of stale fruit and washing detergent. And also wet grain and dust. Slowly dims into a cleaner fruity note. Pears dipped in custard.
Palate: Bitter from start. And that stale note comes through again.
Finish: Bitter, burning.
Comment: For masochists only. Finish in a sauternes cask? Might be a tired one then.
