Tasting notes

Taster Michael Jackson

Nose: Aromatic. Berry-fruits. Cherries. Raisins, quite emphatically so.
Palate: Smooth, clean, entrance. Becoming almondy, with suggestions of bitter chocolate and rum.
Finish: Soothing, warming, long.
Comment: The fruitiest of the Bourbons. After dinner?

Taster Dave Broom

Nose: Assertive maltiness with cooked apple, sweet hay and an intense fragrant/perfumed lift and then a dry sugared almond nuttiness. Delicate but seductive.
Palate: A sweet, perfumed start then that dry malt/nut cuts through to balance well. Some smoke.
Finish: Dry, hay like. Crisp malt.
Comment: A gorgeous refreshing summery glass.
