Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: A veritable flower shop of aromas, lilies, lilacs and peony. Plenty of honey, vanilla custard and candied orange peel. There is a little oak spice here too.
Palate: Gentle and sweet, with a little crunchy malt texture to it. Layers of that oak spice from the nose and candied orange peel vie for attention.
Finish: Short and gentle with a little spice tingle.
Comment: Started off really swell with a great nose. So much going on, but it just seemed to disconnect with the palate. That said, there is plenty to recommend this drop.

Taster   Lyndsey Gray
Nose: A full bouquet of roses, lavender and rosemary followed swiftly by summery notes of rye bread, sugared almonds and honeycomb. Hints of plasticine, white pepper and double cream to finish.
Palate: The fullness of the nose seems to drop off and loses integrity. A nuttiness prevails however, dominating over traces of aloe vera and salted crackers.
Finish: Just light and carefree really.
Comment: So full of promise. Shame. A higher ABV may have given the taste bit more of an oomph.
