Tasting notes

Taster Rob Allanson

Nose: Intense floral notes up front, daffodils and honeysuckle. Then some lovely vanilla, tablet and grilled mango notes follow. A little dried pineapple chunks and a hint of menthol.
Palate: So many layers here, starting with milk chocolate and praline, then fruits in the form of tinned exotic fruit salad, complete with sweet syrup. A hint of ginger bread and a little banana foam sweets.
Finish: Swift and short, but gives us full on raspberries dipped in dark chocolate.
Comment: Solid stuff, with layers of aroma and flavour going on.

Taster Lyndsey Gray

Nose: Fresh and fragrant with subtle fruit notes of pear skin, red apples and dried apricots with hints of hay on a hot summer’s day and grated parmesan appearing.
Palate: Light and airy with an understated sweetness of Bramley apple pie and icing sugar, followed by cotton linen, watered down milk, freshly baked popcorn and magnolias.
Finish: Short and abrupt with a slight creamy consistency.
Comment: Casually sitting in the laundry room with a fresh bucket of popcorn.
