Tasting notes
Taster   Christopher Coates
Nose: Blossom honey, jasmine flowers, New York cheesecake, plum wine, yuzu, and raspberry jam. Peach ring sweets (pfirsichringe).
Palate: Medium. Intensely juicy notes of pineapple, jasmine, mixed berries and tinned peach. Blossom honey, baked pear, brown sugar-dusted shortcrust pastry, egg custard, and cinnamon. Delicate peanut brittle and flapjack.
Finish: Medium, on peach and peanut.
Comment: Wonderfully moreish. I could find myself going back to this one again.
Taster   Phoebe Calver
Nose: Tropical fruit notes of fresh mango, chocolate chip brioche buns, and herbal hints, before salted caramel sponge cake with nutty chunks.
Palate: Chocolate cheesecake, with a side of mango fruit salad, cardamom, vanilla cream and spearmint herbal notes.
Finish: The herbal freshness continues, before becoming dry with a hint of dried fruits.
Comment: A bit of a journey with this, taking you from a tropical holiday, to an earthy walk in the woods. It’s very intriguing.
