Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Rich and buttery. Butterscotch. Greengage jam. Elegant grain note. Sweet, with a good integration of wood and oak. Some depth.
Palate: Round, appetising. Toffee, salted butter caramel. Hint of marzipan. Some fruit too. Oranges with a pinch of cinnamon.
Finish: Warm, creamy. Slightly nutty.
Comment: Appetising, pudding-like but not oversweet. Well balanced. To enjoy with a Dundee cake.
7.8
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Rounded. Soft fruit paste, some sweet wood, hot bracken and a note akin to cheesecake.
Palate: Sweet American oak - cream fudge. Rounded and soft with water.
Finish: Clean and short.
Comment: Perfectly OK, but a bit whisky by numbers.
