Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Hugely fruity at first, apples, peaches, melon balls and a little pineapple – think tinned fruit salad in a glass. A little vanilla custard note and tonka bean. Fresh cut barley fields.
Palate: Follows on form the nose closesly with those apples and peaches taking centre stage. Hints at cider poached pears. Orange barley water sweetness comes through and then more of the vanilla custard takes over.
Finish: Long with that hugely sweet with that vanilla custard.
Comment: One for the sweet toothed...

Taster   Mark Newton
Nose: Buttermilk, mild cheddar. Lemongrass and lavender. With time come gentle honeyed notes, and tons of vanilla. A few fresher fruits, the grass and straw dominate, but it’s a bit ho-hum.
Palate: It’s another vanilla bomb. Bright citrus notes and black pepper frame those golden syrup notes. Mead, straw, something reasonably malty at the core, with sharp acidic grapefruit.
Finish: Vanilla, vanilla, vanilla, with some sour sweet notes and straw.
Comment: If you like vanilla…
