Tasting notes
Taster   Jim Murray
Nose: Much cleaner and uncluttered than of old. Light and quite alluring.
Palate: Impressive malt-fruit ratio with some playful young grassy tones standing up well to the bigger grapey notes. Mouth-watering all round.
Finish: Shorter than before with more emphasis on the fresh malt.
Comment: A vatted malt that has comprehensively changed shape in the last year.
8.0
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Lightly peaty. Dry. Clean.
Palate: Big-bodied. Lightly syrupy. Malty. Sweet.
Finish: Long. Almost stingingly peaty. Warming. Soothing.
Comment: That simple one-two of sweetness and dryness is not especially complex, but the flavours are delicious. Very wholesome and appetising.
