Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Fragrant. Linen, flax. Moorlands.
Palate: Firm, smooth, oily, cereal grains. Dry maltiness.
Finish: Heather. Honey. Lemon. Estery.
Comment: Big in both body and flavours, but restrained and controlled throughout.
7.8
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Clean, perfumed and lifted with good intensity and a suggestion of some weight. Linseed oil/dubbin/mink oil.
Palate: More smoky than the nose suggests. That oily quality fills the mouth well.
Finish: Just a little short.
Comment: Very well made. Mid-weight, attractive and very drinkable.
7.5
