Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Toasted oak, coconut and marshmallows. Cream cheese and honey topped banana loaf. Cherries and oat flapjacks, then a little menthol cough syrup.
Palate: Honey simple syrup, the oak grips with cream toffee. Pecan pie with a shaker full of cinnamon and caster sugar. Eccles cakes and butter too.
Finish: A buttery oiliness that slowly dries out releasing some of those stunning spices.
Comment: Initially shy, but then opens up with glorious results.

Taster   Kate Packwood
Nose: Apple crumble with cinnamon and nutmeg, honey-soaked apricots, roasted peach and nectarine, freshly split vanilla pods and sugared almonds.
Palate: Crisp green apple tarte tartin, fresh oak, damson jam, ripe plums, then dark chocolate and floral Turkish delight.
Finish: Fulsome orchard fruits and cinnamon spice too.
Comment: Like a celebration of orchard fruits with hints of deep floral notes. Delicious.
