Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Chicory,Camp coffee and masses of dried fruit; a whiff of Lea & Perrins, then boot polish and burnt timbers.
Palate: Immediate tannic grip. This is all leather and treacle combined (which brings a somewhat alarming image to mind) Any sweetness which was once there has long gone. There's just a hit of rancio and a little clove.
Finish: Bitter.
Comment: Too long in the wood.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Sherry, sherry and sherry again. Antique shop, old furniture. Moss, damp earth. A hint of fungus.Sweetness lies in the back,as if chained by wood.Dates,molasses. Grated dark chocolate.
Palate: Oak juice, not much more... Astringent and bitter.
Finish: Bitter and spicy.
Comment: I have the feeling I keep repeating myself. It seems I have already swallowed a forest of Spanish oak.
