Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: This is all bitter coffee grounds and walnut whips.Australian sherry, heavily oxidised notes, but then asurprising lift of raspberry.
Palate: This is like diving headfirst into a pile of leaves and emerging with a mouthful of twigs and earth. There's some marzipan and sultana, but not for me.
Finish: Tight.
Comment: Another that's lost it.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Oaky. So black. Another sherry monster. Treacle, dark chocolate.
Palate: A sweet start then the bitter kick of the wood. Walnut stain with a rough feel on the tongue.
Finish: Bitter,astringent.
Comment: Too much wood for me. I love herbal teas but not with an oak infusion.
