Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Intense, perfumy.Old furniture, antique shop. Spice dust from Hessian bags. Old English marmalade. Plums jam. Complex, unveiling layers of aromas.
Palate: Velvety, smooth. Sweet dried fruit. Sultanas, dates. Citrus candied peel.
Finish: Lingering on fruit and oak notes. Spicy dryness.
Comment: Oak is perfectly integrated. A rich character,well-balanced,delivering layers of flavours. Take your time!

Nose: Retrained and elegant. Broad soft fruits, dried cherry, polished oak with a spicy tingle. Light resin, roasted pepper/sun-dried tomato.
Palate: Nutty and oaky which loosens into butterscotch and then nuts ,then toasty cedar. Papery, then date like fruit before it starts to grip.
Finish: Firm and nutty.
Comment: Superb nose, but a little dry on the tongue. Still...!
