Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Rich, muscular and heady with some marzipan, baked fruit, lime blossom. Shifts into fresh cut damp grass, then walnut and butter icing. Complex, becoming silkier.
Palate: Rounded and mouthfilling. Quite chewy and slightly sweet with hints of semi-dried fruits and even some banana. Chocolate. Good balance.
Finish: Minty and long.
Comment: Mature and elegant.
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Malty. Biscuity. Oatcakes. Peaches in a light vanilla syrup.
Palate: Silky. Sweet malty notes with a freshly squeezed lemon juice. Coats the tongue but without being cloying. Creamy. Bourbon cream biscuits.
Finish: Dry and sherbety. A hint of almond in the back.
Comment: A lovely dram. Characterful and satisfying. For the adepts of slow drink. Water kills it.
