Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Dried ginger with some hints of toffee pudding. Malty. A trace of something glue like. Clotted cream fudge and some big spices.
Palate: Ginger pudding spice at first then more cinnamon and honey.
Finish: Spiced apple pie.
Comment: Would be interesting to try this at a higher ABV.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Crisp oak and the suggestion of tannin. Assam tea and damp wool shifting into privet blossom and rice pudding skin. Slightly numb. Another which opens with water.
Palate: Soft and mouthfilling with mocha and toffee. Very soft with light grip. Slightly flat however.
Finish: Drying.
Comment: It’s a decent enough dram but just falls flat in the mouth. More alcohol would have helped methinks.
