Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Full of cigar smoke, Parkin cake, dark treacle, plum pudding and a sweetfloral note, almost lilies.
Palate: Coats the mouth and has a little tannin grip. Treacle dominated and has anolorosso sherry hit.
Finish: Big and spicy, gives a great buzz.
Comment: A great benchmark for the distillery to aim for.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Treacle and dark pipe tobacco. Progressively sweeter, more floral. Lotsof honey.
Palate: Big in the mouth, sweet sherry, more honey, spice and tropical fruits.
Finish: Long and surprisingly lively, with plain chocolate and toasted oak.
Comment: Complex and confident. Lovely stuff!
