Tasting notes
Taster   Phoebe Calver
Nose: It’s giving me botanical house plant vibes, then peppermint freshness, vanilla custard and kiwi.
Palate: More of that peppermint note, then stem ginger, vanilla sponge fingers and a little sage plant mellowing out the warmth from the ginger.
Finish: Lingering freshness and that mellow vanilla note.
Comment: It didn’t quite deliver as I was expecting, but there’s a lot of character to work with here.
7.5
Taster   Christopher Coates
Nose: Earthy and mossy, with aloe, menthol and eucalyptus. Pickled green chilli peppers and pear drop. Very delicate vanilla and green olives in brine. Delicately petrolic.
Palate: Medium bodied. Herbal. Tarragon and menthol, with delicate apple and pear. Roasted agave, with some sweet vanilla notes. Hot and somewhat gingery.
Finish: The menthol and eucalyptus linger, with some delicate cereal notes.
Comment: Some real depth to the nose, but too spirit forward to consider fully mature just yet.
