Tasting notes

Taster Martine Nouet

Nose: Restrained at first. Cider apple. Elegant oak. A earthy note. Restrained. Slowly unveils more fruit. Creamy citrus. Pineapple juice. Hint of guava.
Palate: Sweet and gentle. Satin feel. Dry fruit. Sultanas, dry cranberries. Brazil nuts. Rich and luscious. Barley sugar.
Finish: Dry, spicy with sultanas.
Comment: Slow to bloom. But so rewarding once opened. Elegant, delicate, and characterful. The sauternes has enriched it with more citrus and dried fruit. A delight.

Taster Rob Allanson

Nose: Earth and fresh wood at first but develops more fruity notes over time, apricots, passion fruit and kiwi.
Palate: Coats the mouth very well with cream and fruits. Some sweetness and dried fruit too.
Finish: Short, drying and tantalising.
Comment: Takes its time but well worth the wait when it reveals itself.The sauternes has brought a wonderful sweetness to the dram.
