Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Balsa wood. Rooty. Liquorice.
Palate: Very lightly oily. Soft liquorice. Black-and-white humbugs.
Finish: Sherbet. Spicy warmth.
Comment: The flavours of a school sweetshop. I hope that does not get Glen Mhor banned in Boston.
7.5
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Aslight musty, earthy note, and some sooty smoke, with a sweetness like sugared almond. With water, a hint of wet tweed and smouldering fires.
Palate: Gentle start, then a spicy, almost ginger-beer note pings it into life, then comes fruit, which softens and dies.
Finish: Cigar ash.
Comment: Good energy; the old, slight mustiness on the nose is nowhere to be seen on the palate.
7.5
