Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Straight off that farmyard note moves to goat's cheese rolled in flowers and honey. Plenty of vanilla here, and soft gentle oak. Sliced green apples sprinkled with brown sugar and cinnamon.
Palate: Hints of dried fruits abound, butter pastry and raisins. Then moves to more spice with chilli-almonds, honeyed apricots and a little kick of oak spices.
Finish: Takes its time, a slight bitter edge which is enjoyable, and warming too.
Comment: A very tasty drop with many a twist and turn to it.

Taster   Lyndsey Gray
Nose: Cheese, Gromit? A nose of full of Wensleydale, cranberries and digestives at the forefront with dried apricots, strawberry laces and banana skin taking to the stage once water is added.
Palate: Well that was unexpected. All the fruits are overtaken with notes of toasted almonds, sage, cloves and nectar honey creating a spicy and floral palate.
Finish: Long finish, with a creamy texture.
Comment: A bit of a poker player this Speysider. Keeps you guessing with every sip.
