Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Really vibrant at first, plenty of fruit going on here. Tinned pineapple and coconut, actually pretty much a liquid fruit salad. Also a sharp tang of grapefruit. Aromas of fresh mown grass and day old cut barley stubble.
Palate: That malt hint turns more to Ovaltine, really creamy with hints of chocolate and fresh vanilla pods. Chewy caramel. A hit of citrus zest as well. Then you get fruity notes.
Finish: Vibrant and long, with plenty of fruit and oak notes.
Comment: A delightful Speysider, just right for the summer months.

Taster   Sam Coyne
Nose: Tropical fruits, namely grilled pineapple, a little pink-grapefruit juice, fresh lime and mown lawns.
Palate: Those notes continue – mango and apricots, a little vanilla yogurt. Some desiccated coconut and apple pies. Brought to life a little bit by more of the citrus. There’s a real lightness of touch to this.
Finish: Lingers with you. The grass from the nose returns and tones down some of the fruit.
Comment: The lightness in this one is really quite special. There’s an abundance of flavour, but all treated with respect.
