Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Obviously old: concentrated rancio/balsamic notes, wild mushroom liquor. Fragrant smoke, coffee grounds, arbroath smoke, amontillado.
Palate: An intriguing and complex mix of dried fruits, oak, wet coal, fish oils.
Finish: Long oaky, rancio.
Comment: Do NOT add water. Remarkable for its age.
8.8
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Honey. Syrup. Figs. Dry spiciness. Slightly medicinal.
Palate: Astonishingly fig-like. Earthy. Dusty.
Finish: Tastes stronger than the claimed 45%. Restorative.
Comment: After a few of these, the rebel leader (played by Anthony Quinn) toasts freedom, and we start firing our carbines in the air.
