Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Youthfully acetic with a whiff of spirit above gentle smoke (bbq?) and a cereal base. Some caramel. Honey?
Palate: Quite light and dry at first; then surprisingly rich and gingery. Gingerbread.
Finish: Mild. Lovely late smoke development.
Comment: Elegant and uncomplicated. Refreshing and appetising. Hides its 50% ABV very well.
9.3
Taster   Arthur Motley
Nose: Lots of sherry, wood polish, tiramisu, tobacco and cinnamon toast.
Palate: Coffee drunk through a snorkel mask.
Finish: Bitter chocolate.
Comment: A sherry beast with rubbery horns. A drink to be chewed rather than sipped. It caught me in the right mood and I liked it.
