Tasting notes
Taster   Annabel Meikle
Nose: A curious first impression that takes you by surprise. Blackcurrant leaves and berries, elderflower cordial black liquorice and herbal notes of crushed nettles.
Palate: Menthol lozenge, blackcurrant and mint, then cut grass. It has no sweetness I would associate with oak. Has this been matured in another wood like pine?
Finish: A seesaw of cool to hot with a long pithy finish.
Comment: It felt like walking in a Swedish forest in the rain!

Taster   Joel Harrison
Nose: Like a Swedish sauna, linament, Moroccan mint tea and cough medicine.
Palate: Very, very odd. Like cinnamon balls, leather footballs. Like a pine liqueur I recently had in France. Fisherman's Friends too.
Finish: Pine bitterness. Fernet Branca.
Comment: Could be used as a cocktail ingredient. Like it has been matured in Swedish Sauna Pine Wood.
